We are a small private practice in the heart of Downtown San Mateo that strives to provide professional eye care in a comfortable and friendly environment. We perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings as well as filling prescription eyewear.
Our Optometrists
Dr. Susie Lee, O.D.
Dr. Susie Lee grew up in San Francisco. She received her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from U.C. Berkeley and continued on to graduate from U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry in 2002. She trained at the Omni Eye Centers in New Jersey and New York, and the Veterans Affairs Hospitals in Oakland and San Francisco.
Outside of the office, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her family and crafting with her daughter.
Dr. Nicholas Chan, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Nicholas Chan graduated with a duel degree in Molecular Cell Biology and Economics from U.C. Berkeley. He then moved to the east coast to pursue his doctorate degree from the New England College of Optometry in 2001. Dr. Chan spent an extra year in residency training in ocular pathology at the San Francisco Veterans Affair Hospital. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He sees patients at Third Avenue Optometry on occasional Saturdays.
Dr. Chan enjoys cooking and baking for his family during his free time.
